Cleaning your work boots

By hispanic

One of the top cool characters to be is a cowboy. That tough and rough look has that is distinctly attractive. A lot will surely believe that cowboys are "cool"

When someone says "cowboy" probably the first thing that comes into a person's mind is the boots. Cowboy boots are high-cut ones, having pointed tips, and do not have lacing. It is made of pure leather or cow hide

Nowadays, cowboy boots are merely collector's items that are not quite practical to use today. Probably its modern counterpart are the work boots. Work boots are not necessarily made of pure leather, but are rather very durable. It not only offers comfort, but also adequate protection of the wearer's feet.

Of course these boots are not just your typical "disposable" footwear you can afford to neglect. Even though they are tough and hardy, they still do need to be well-kept and taken care of. If that is done, you don't just keep them nice and presentable, you also extend their life, getting your money's worth.

Here is how to clean your them properly:

1.Before anything else, make sure that your boots is clean. Brush of dust and dirt off the shoe, paying close attention to the bottom part.

2. Clean the surface of the boots using a leather conditioner or a leather balm. Take note of the areas where dirt accumulates and pay attention to those spots

3. After that, apply a thin layer of a neutral shoe cream, and rub it with a rag or shoe brush until you get it shiny

4.If you want a more shiny finish, you can apply a thin coat of wax polish on areas having light colors. Brush or rub the boots again until it shines.
