The Secret of Suit Colors

The most ignored area of a suit purchase is undoubtedly the suit color. Many men feel that they should choose their suit color based off of what color they like best. However, what men really need to look at before choosing a color is which color works best for them.

This article was crafted to give men a better idea of what color they should wear. Areas evaluated are skin hues, special occasions, and body frames. The colors we will talk about are brown, gray, tan, blue, and black.

Wearing a black suit to a funeral is a must. It is also usable in office situations and formal events such as award ceremonies. Men with slender bodies and extremely pale skin should try and stay away from this color as it has a tendency to make them look frail.

Wearing a blue suit to an interview with a red tie is known as the "power suit". This makes this suit ideal for interviews and everyday business wear. Lean body types with lightly colored skin look best in this suit.

The brown suit is a highly overlooked office suit that looks fantastic on all body types and most skin shades. However, men with very light skin should probably steer clear of this color. This suit can also be worn to formal events and is a unique way to positively stand out at a wedding.

Wearing a gray suit usually says "I'm going to the office". This color is great for the business arena and should be purchased by any man looking for an everyday suit. All skin shades and body types should own a minimum of one charcoal gray suit.

The tan suit is a nice suit for spring and summer weather. This suit can be worn to outdoor social events and less formal office settings. Men with large builds or light skin colors should avoid this suit as it is not very flattering for them.
