How much do I have to raise?
When signing up for the run, each participant must pay a 100 non-refundable registration fee. 50 of this covers the cost of the gorilla costume and the administration of the run. The other 50 is a donation to the charity. In addition, each runner must commit to raising a MINIMUM OF 400 SPONSORSHIP. This might initially sound like a lot, but find 20 people to sponsor you 20 and youre there.

Can I walk?
Yes. Its not a race so you can run, walk or jog. Itll be pretty warm inside your gorilla costume so well be encouraging everyone to take it easy and enjoy the event.Unfortunately, for safety reasons we cannot allow under 14s to officially register for the event. However, as the route uses public byways and pavements, theres nothing to stop you taking an under-14 around the route with you, but this must be done at your own risk.
