Tattoo Designs And Guides

By Mack Moss

Does Lynne really have a tattoo?
Yes, on the inside of her left forearm. It is a yellow circle containing an orange mark, a black figure of a dragon, and black Korean characters which read as "Pil Sung." Pil Sung is a motto for Choi Kwang Do and translates as "Certain Victory." Lynne got the tattoo to celebrate attaining her first-degree black belt in 1994.Again it depends on the tattoo. Generally it will have to be larger than the original tattoo, to what extent depends on exactly what design you are going to cover it with. The easiest place to get a tattoo is right here at Token Tom's 'Eye of the Dragon' Tattoo. We're very gentle and understanding. PLUS - we can NUMB out the area beforehand and all you will feel is vibration. Nothing wrong with a good vibrator...

What kind of lotion should I use?
Using the right lotion is crucial, as I found out with my tribal chimera tattoo on my left shoulder. Because it was so hard to reach, I didn't put nearly as much lotion on it and it cracked and bled. Eventually it healed improperly and I have two faded spots which I have to get touched up (which I will do when I get my tribal dragon on the other shoulder). Because it had so little lotion, when I finally bought a long-handled wooden spoon to apply the lotion, I switched to Bag Balm.Yes, on the inside of her left forearm. Again it depends on the tattoo. I gotta tell ya, I don't like either one so I'm sticking with GoLive CS2 for now. Other than that, I'm working on a couple of commissions that came in. A tattoo and the second piece in the Jeff Mullen MtG series. Prints of the first piece are available on Zazzle. The second one up is Shivan Dragon.

Q.: How do I become a tattoo artist?
Tattooing is traditionally an apprentice based art. Apprenticeships last approximately three years before they are considered professional artists. You are making permanent, often visible changes to another human being and if proper procedure isn't followed, could be jeopardizing that client's health and emotional well-being. By taking advantage of the knowledge of experienced, professional artists, you will avoid many costly mistakes.Yes, on the inside of her left forearm.
