15 Ways for Women to Find Inspiration

Inspiration comes when you least expect it. In fact, quite often if you're looking for inspiration it just cannot be found; however, rest assured if you're sitting in your car in traffic or doing the laundry a great idea or a profound aha moment will emerge. Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could find a way to create those moments each and every day?

You don't look for inspiration but you can look for these everyday inspirational tools.

Find Daily Inspiration in 15 Easy Ways

1. Music. Music fills our souls and it inspires wonderful things. Take a moment each and every day to listen to a favorite song or to listen to a new artist you've heard great things about. Don't just put the song on and go back to what you were doing, sit down and really listen to it. If there are words, and you know them, feel free to belt it out and sing along.

2. Animals. We are the keepers of animal life on earth. Pets love you unconditionally and you are called to do the same if you choose to open your home to them. Take a page from their book. Use them as a way to get inspired about life. Pets act on instinct and are quite amusing.

3. Nature. Trees, clouds, grass and weather are all a necessary part of our ecosystem. Take a moment to experience them and discover just how they work together to enhance your life.

4. Children. Whether they're your own or you're just watching them from afar, children have infinite wisdom. When they're really young, they live their lives with complete honesty.

5. Read a favorite book. Books are like old friends. Reread a favorite and get reacquainted. Some books offer new insights.

6. Religious books. What is your favorite religious text? In its pages are truth and wisdom for living your life. Stay connected to your spiritual side for a well-balanced life.

7. Meditation. Millions of people can't all be wrong. Meditation quiets the mind so you can gain new insights without conscious thought.

8. Art. Experience your favorite type of artwork in a museum or gallery.

9. Textures. Textures in walls, carpets, animals, and clothing bring sensation and other feelings to our minds. Use it for inspiration and positive energy.

10. Watch people. You learn interesting things from watching people in their native habitat. When you can, help another in need and encourage them to continue the kindness.

11. Find gratitude, and express it. Every day list five things you're grateful for and express your gratitude.

12. Dancing. Move your body to express how you feel. Music is not required. Let your heart be light as you free your mind.

13. Friends. Talk to those you trust and let them challenge you to live life in a grander way. Share your joys, fears, and obstacles as well as hopes with them.

14. Quotes. People love quotes and a quote a day can be quite profound and can change the way you approach your day.

15. Hobbies. Hobbies can be meditative and a source of contentment. Find a hobby you're passionate about and let the inspiration flow.

Look around and see inspiration in places that seemed unlikely. When you find it, share it with others so that they can be inspired as well.
