Ed Hardy Apparel - Bags

By Chelsea Luardo

After having designed for the likes of Von Dutch Originals, it is safe to say that French designer Christian Audigier knows his fashion. This knowledge spawned a desire to create his own unique line, and this desire manifested itself in Ed Hardy Apparel, a line of clothing and accessories based on the work of tattooist Don Ed Hardy.

With the Ed Hardy line, Audigier has managed to concentrate on comfort, usefulness and wearability as well as a highly stylish design. His line of tote bags, rucksacks and handbags show this more than almost anything else.

Designer handbags often have small pockets that are useful only for decoration and little else. They are often made an awkward size. They are not small enough to use as a purse on a night out, but not large enough to use as a day to day bag. Quite simply, they are not designed with the user in mind.

This is simply not the case with bags by Ed Hardy. They have clearly been designed for a more urban lifestyle. His bags come in all shapes and sizes, and it is hard to find something that isn't included in the current line. There are tote bags, larger rucksacks, and small purses for a night out on the town. Some, like the "Ed Hardy Denim Desiree Bag", even come with a small purse to match.

With their vibrant, bright and original designs, knowing that you will always be able to spot your bag in a crowd is another fantastic feature of the Ed Hardy line. You can leave your home knowing you have a bag that is both practical and stylish, especially with the likes of the "Ed Hardy Stripe Sally Bag" available.

Ed Hardy bags are sure to have what you're looking for, whether you're going on a picnic or out to a posh cocktail night with friends. Those Louis Vuitton staples and Gucci purses have got to go, because this summer wouldn't be complete without a bag from the new Ed Hardy line.
