Perfume With Style And Elegance

Perfume is used to give the human body, animals, objects and living spaces a pleasant smell or fragrance. Fragrant essential oils, aroma compounds, fixatives and solvents make up its composition. For women it is considered the epitome of elegance as colognes have been commercialized. The fragrance of a beautiful woman is a definite embodiment of her womanliness.

Composition

Some very famous commercial womens perfumes are made by names like Chanel, Estee Lauder, Guerlain, Thierry Mugler or Lanvin. True perfumes contain a greater amount of perfume oils and are more expensive than colognes and toilet waters. Most perfumes consist of 10 to 20 percent perfume oils dissolved in alcohol.

Depending largely on its intended use is what determines the composition of a perfume. Rare flower oils from many parts of the world are what most expensive body perfumes consist of. Coming from low-cost materials are perfumes used is soap making. Blends of flower and plant oils, animal substances, synthetics, alcohol and water makeup many perfumes.

Fragrance Classics

Chance, No. 5 and Allure are some of the classic fragrances by Chanel. In addition, there are featured celebrity perfumes like Unforgivable Woman Black by Sean John, Spirit by Antonio Banderas and Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears.

Many of these popular perfumes are sold by the big houses and are priced between $100 and $200 an ounce. The true connoisseur of colognes will always buy her brand, because it has become a part of her personality, even though there are special offers for other brands available during special seasons.

The Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel is a 100ml Eau de Spray. It can truly be classified as a feminine and sexy fragrance, launched in 2001. The various fragrances available are mandarin, orange blossom, baroque flowers, Bulgarian rose, Indian jasmine and Tonka bean, all of which are light fragrances. Launched in 1921, Chanel No. 5 is one of the oldest formulas of Chanel. From that time until today it is considered one of the most feminine and yet modern floral fragrances. The fragrance notes include ylang-ylang, amber, iris, patchouli, neroli, grasse jasmine, may rose, sandalwood and vanilla.

An equally enticing fragrance is Euphoria by Calvin Klein. It can be classified as modern, sophisticated and feminine as it has a flowery fragrance. Black violet, pomegranate, black orchid, mahogany wood, persimmon and lotus blossom are the various flower fragrances in which Euphoria is available.

The perfume launched by Viktor & Rolf called Flowerbomb also has a woody fresh fragrance and is known for its Asian influences. Some of the fragrance notes used are Asian favorites like patchouli, jasmine, freesia and bergamot. Another sensual scent is the one from Donna Karan called DKNY Be Delicious. It is definitely an exotic fragrance that is refreshing, fresh, sophisticated and crisp. The fragrances used are very much different from the others because they are grapefruit, cucumber, apple and magnolia.

Whether Gucci, Armani, Christian Dior or even a less well-known maker makes it, a woman's own special fragrance lends her grace, style and elegance. It matches the flavor of her dress, the occasion and the personality of the person who uses it.
