Do You Have the Right Bra?

Most of us wear the wrong size bra according to studies. Bras simply are not as comfortable as they could be. The good news, however, is every year brings new models that are a bit better.

One of my favorite new bras is the La Perla Vintage. It has a nice shape and padded underwire support makes it comfortable. The downsides are it has to be hand washed and is a very price $127. One has to pay for comfort.

Could you use a bit of a lift without it being to obvious? The Secret Ipex demi-cup bra from Victoria's Secret is just the answer. It is reasonably priced at $45, but does have the all to common unprotected underwire problem.

An older bra that has been given a tune up this year is the Bump It Up product from OnGossamer. There is truth in advertising with this name and your bust line will definitely be the focus of your outfit when you wear this comfy brassiere.

A word of advice on buying bras. If it is an underwire model, make sure there is extra padding around it. Constant poking can drive any woman nutts. Also, look for double stitching on straps, a sign of quality.

Most of us are wearing bras right now that don't fit. Getting a professional fitting is a must. That being said, your body changes over time. Make sure to get fitting checks every few years to make sure you get the most from your bra.

Finding the perfect bra is tough. Making things worse, the lingerie brands don't all use the same exact size! A 30C by Enell might be slightly bigger than the same designation by Goddess or Freya. Hey, we all like a good challenge?

Every year brings new bras to the market which technically should be improvements over the previous year. The real question is whether they are in improvement for your particular shape and size. The only way to find out is to give them a try.
